Free Time

Well... I finally have some free time now that my wedding is over. I didn't think I would miss planning and going crazy but I kind of miss it. I have a lot of extra time on my hands lately LOL. I am trying to get into some craft thing but I don't know what I want to do. I love scrapbooking but it can be expensive. I used to make jewelery but I spent a lot of money and didn't really sell much. I've been cooking a lot lately and reading a lot of food magazines. I'm really married!! LOL

I can't wait to get my professional pictures back from my photographer.

So how is everyone? LOL I am so bored!!

Some great books to read

In the past couple of weeks I have read several interesting books that I would like to share and if you get stumped one day and don't know what to read then you can certainly try one of these.....

I had this book sitting in my bookcase for a while and always put it off because I had something "better" to read.  It was actually my boss that had said something about it and I was like "oh I have that, I should read it". So I took it off my bookshelf finally and opened the first page and started reading it. In all the years that I have been reading, after the hundreds of books I have read and felt something with... this book tops it all. I am not going to give anything away because I truly want everyone to feel the what I felt when I was reading it. The book is called Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay
The story is about a woman who is writing an article about the Holocaust in France during the 1940's. She is asked to write an article about the 60th anniversary of the roundup of Jews that lived in France during this time. The book switches from the present to 1940's to a little girl named Sarah who is a young Jewish girl who gets taken out of her home during the roundup with her family.

While I am not going to say anymore about the plot, I must say it was the most difficult and hard to read books I have ever read in my life. Not so much the language but the content. After reading this story I seriously just shook my head and said I had to go to bed. I just couldn't believe what I read.

They are also making a movie out of it... here is the trailer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w182qmadmbk

The next book that was really good was Lara Adrian's Kiss of Midnight. This is book 1 of the Midnight Breed series. Once again... this series has been sitting on my bookshelf for a very long time. I just all of a sudden wanted to get back into the Vampire smut world.

I really enjoyed the first book out of this series. It reminded me a lot of the "Dark Hunter Series". I needed a "light" read after reading Sarah's Key. Good storyline, good character development, sexy scenes... just a good book. I am just starting the 2nd book in the series Kiss of Crimson.

The last two books that I thought were incredible are from Kristin Hannah. I can not say enough about her as a writer. Her books are so detailed and are filled with so emotions that I literally sit here and cry reading her books. The first book I read from her was "Night Road"
This was such a good book!!! I couldn't put it down. Took me about a day and a half to read it. My co-worker let me borrow it and I am so thankful that she did because it introduced me to Kristin Hannah's work. And the second book I read from her was "Winter Garden"

Another amazing story! I shook my head and couldn't believe what I just read again when I read this book. So incredibly descriptive. With Hannah's books you can feel what the characters are feeling. I cry when they cried, I laughed when they did. I loved both of these books!!!

That is all for now! Hopefully you can read one or two or all of these because they are really amazing books!

Update on wedding things!

So I know I haven't posted anything about the wedding recently and I am sorry!!! Alright here we go...

These are the bubbles we are going to use after the ceremony. Since we are not allowed to throw anything because the animals might eat them. So I bought the bubbles at Walmart and I think it was $20 for 100 bubbles. Then I ordered the tags from a site on Etsy.. they were $2.00 a package for 25. Then I went to Michaels and got the orange ribbon (.33 for a 10  yard roll) the letter stamps ($1.00 for the entire alphabet) the leave stamps ( $6.00 for 3) and the different colored stamp pads ( 2 red, 2 orange, 2 brown, 2 green all were $1.00 a piece) and there they are! I love them!

These are our table numbers. I wanted to do mini chalkboards all along but they were always so expensive online. So I went to AC Moore and they had these for $1.29 a piece. We bought stain and paint because the wood was very light and I wanted it darker. So we stained them and beat them up a little with a hammer. The paint is a mix of ivory and cooper. I love these!

This is my card box. I borrowed it from my best friend Christie who used it for her wedding day. My Maid of Honor did all of these to the box to make it look pretty!

Here are my shoes. I had such a hard time with these stupid shoes. David's Bridal messed up on the dye 4 times and after the 4th time I told them to send me a pair of white ones because I couldn't deal with them anymore. So my MOH took them to a tailor in town and he was amazing! I wanted to kiss the man! He was able to dye them the exact color I wanted. We also painted the bottom so they didn't look so cheap. So any of you girls getting married if you paint the bottom of your shoes they won't look so weird! Whether it is the same color as your bridesmaids dresses or black I think they look better! And then we rhinestoned the bottom to say "I DO"

This is what our favor boxes will look like. It is just a mock up and we are still trying to work out the kinks. But I think they are cute and we are going to make different colored leaf chocolates to put inside the box!
Here are the invites!!! I loveeeee them!!!

Last, but not least, here is a picture of my dress... it has been altered and I am standing in her workshop lol so don't mind the background or what I look like. It's such a bad picture sorry!

So that is it for now! I hope you enjoyed!

Etsy Review # 2- Riche Mineral Cosmetics

Ok girls... another review for your viewing pleasure!

This Etsy shop is called Riche Mineral Cosmetics. I ordered two eye shadows one was called "Sultry" and the other "Off the Deep End". I decided to order from this shop because it had great pictures and it was very welcoming. They were having an awesome sale when I ordered. At this current time they are running a Super Duper Sale in their sales selection.

Here is a picture of "Sultry". It is a very rich, dark red with hints of brown. I ordered this because when I go out at night I like to have a dark color. It actually works perfectly with my hazel eyes and I think it would bring out anyone's eye color. It has a bit of shine and sparkle which makes it even better. The 3g jar is perfect because a little bit goes a long way!  Once again still not a pro at taking pictures...

The second color I chose " Off the Deep End"... is a dark purple (which I love!) Great color and really goes on nice. These mineral shadows don't clump and go on smoothly.

Shop: Riche Minerals Cosmetics
Order: 3g jar Sultry, 3g Off the Deep End
Website:http://www.etsy.com/shop/richecosmetics
Grade: A+
Pros: Fast shipping, great product, FREE lip gloss which is beautiful "Summer Love", great packaging, easy to navigate Etsy Shop, very good prices.
Cons: None

Definitely recommend ordering from this shop and will be going back to order.

A review of HotMamaMinerals shop on Etsy

I got one of my several purchases today and I promised that I would review them here. The first package to arrive was from HotMamaMinerals shop on Etsy. I decided to order from this shop because it was brand new and she also had 3 free jars. In return you had to pay it forward. So here is my pay it forward.

The package came today in a bubble envelope. Inside was an organza bag with my shades and another bag with some free makeup applicators which I thought was a great touch. Now, I am no makeup expert but apparently using mineral shadow you can wet it to bring out a more vibrant color. I tried to do that, but it didn't seem to work so the pictures here are not as good as I would have hoped.

I haven't been able to perfect my camera and lighting so please don't be unimpressed. Also, excuse my eyebrows hehe.

The first color I received is called Black Amethyst. I was really impressed with this color.I have hazel eyes so purples and greens are the colors I usually stick to, to pop out my eyes. It is a dark purple and I loved it!

I received three FREE jars... Rio, Twilight Green, and Gothic Girl.

Rio is a shimmery purple, pink color. It is iradecent in the bottle but comes out really nicely on the eyes. It is a spring/summer color which can be worn with a really nice spring dress.

Twilight Green is awesome! It's a shimmery light green mixed with black specks to give it a two-toned look.

Gothic Girl was a bit of a disappointment. In the jar it looks reddish... which sometimes I use... but it comes out really brown. It is suppose to be shimmery, but I didn't get that.

I will be grading all my Etsy purchases on an A-F scale.. A being the best, F obviously not being very good.

Shop: HotMamaMinerals
Order: 1 5g jar, 3 Free 3g jars
Website: http://www.etsy.com/shop/HotMamaMinerals?ref=pr_shop_more
Grade: A
Reasons Pro: Great communication, great packaging, fast shipping, good product, freebies, and great discounts on the website.
Reasons Con: I think with any online purchase it is hard to tell what the colors will look like on you. Only disappointed with one of the 4 colors.

Please support this new Etsy shop!

Bad Blogger

Yes, I am a bad blogger. I get on these kicks for a while and then I just stop. I really have no idea why I do that, but like I say ALL THE TIME... I will try to get better.

It is officially 5 months before my wedding and I am starting to freak out about everything. Almost everything is finished, but it is the small things that I am worried about and the things I really don't have money for. *sigh* I hope everything will get finished and paid off.

I also graduated from college last week! Finally after 7 years. It was a nice ceremony. I am just happy that it's official!

As some of you know I am an addict to Etsy.com and I came across some great shops that are now my favorites! I don't know about you, but I appreciate the handmade things people make. Here are the links to my new favorite shops. I hope you can check them out and maybe get some goodies!

Here you can get a wide range of goodies... from soap to tea... I actually bought my mom the Juicy Watermelon whipped soap and she uses it to shave. My mother is known to hack her legs open, but since she started using this she hasn't cut herself! I placed an order last night for several of the soaps and a few scented sachets. I will review them when they get here! http://www.etsy.com/shop/layla

I just found this shop yesterday and couldn't be more excited. I have A LOT if makeup but I always seem to want MORE!! I thought this shop had awesome colors and for a great price! I will post pictures when I get them in! http://www.etsy.com/shop/ConcreteMinerals

I have been dying to order some of these cookies for a while now and was finally able to purchase some yesterday! I am so excited to try them and they always get great reviews. At first I was a little apprehensive to order food from Etsy, but then I thought "why the hell not?" So here it is... http://www.etsy.com/shop/inkandpaperarts. If you become a fan on Facebook you will be notified of deals and specials!

Baroque Body is my favorite shop on Etsy. Here you can purchase roll on perfume that is like no other. A lot of her scents are amazing and I love using them when I first get out of the shower or if I don't want to drench myself in body spray. http://www.etsy.com/shop/baroquebody

Another website I have been actively using is www.goodreads.com. You can review books, join groups, and even enter giveaways to receive FREE books! I recently won a book called As Husbands Go. I haven't read it yet but it is on my list!

Well that's about it for now. Very random but I am hopefully back for a little bit.

Ok I just fell in love!!!

I was browsing on Etsy (because it's crack... an exact quote from Megs hehe) and I stumbled upon these:
HOW AMAZING!!!!!! I think I might have to reconsider doing my own invites.

I also found these:
* on Etsy of course*
I mean really.. how perfect are these??? *sigh* I'm in love!

DIY Bride

I have decided that I want to do a lot of DIY things for our wedding. I'm thinking this will help us save money and it might be fun to do. I know it is a lot to take on, but I do have 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and a SIL to be. But I have been putting together some ideas that I would like for our wedding. I didn't realize how much actually goes into all this wedding stuff...even if you want it small. We are working on a tight budget so hopefully this is a good idea hehe!

So far here are our checks off our list

1. Venue
2. Officiant
3. Wedding gown
4. Bridesmaids dresses
5. Bridesmaids shoes
6. DJ
7. Photographer
8. Videographer
9. Save the dates- ordered and mailed out
10. Registry
11. Engagement Party
12. Rehearsal Dinner location
13. Makeup artist- booked and trial complete

That seems like a lot but I don't feel like I have anything accomplished yet!! LOL

Here is a list of the DIY projects I would like to complete:

Monogram
Bridesmaids Gifts
Invitations: weddings and rehearsal dinner
Menus
Programs
Jewelry
Seating Cards
Centerpieces
Card Box

If anyone has any ideas... let me know!! LOL

Make-Up trial

So I had my makeup trial today and here is the outcome:

I also picked out the bridesmaids shoes... FINALLY!!! here they are!!!

The color is going to be in White satin.

Welcome to the 4th grade Ms. Thorne

That's right I start my long term substitute position tomorrow. This can possibly turn into a full time teaching position. I am a little nervous but very excited.

It's really weird how I feel right now about this. I know I am a good teacher, but I don't feel prepared. These students have been with different subs and barely had their original teacher with them all year. They haven't had any stability in the classroom and I feel like I am going to have a lot on my plate to get them updated. I am ready for it but at the same time... a lot depends on the 4th grade teachers because the students take the NJ ASK. Which is a BIG standardized test that is given to every student and if they fail the school fails and don't get as much state funding. BLEH!!! Ok so just wish me luck!!

I think I finally found my bridal shoes and bridesmaids shoes. I am wearing the same as the girls but they will be wearing them in ivory (my dress color) and I will be wearing them in lapis ( the bridesmaids dresses)... here is a pic

In other news... The guy we booked our wedding with is no longer with The Tides. I am not happy about this, but apparently we will get someone new who will take over. I had a funny feeling that this was going to happen because they are known for doing this. UGH!!! I just emailed the venue and hopefully I will be able to speak to someone about our wedding.

Save the dates are out!

So yesterday I addressed and stuffed my STD envelopes! I hope everyone likes them. It was really a pain in the ass to do because everything has to be perfect and correct. The wording has to be correct... really just a pain. I understand why I was procrastinating this. I realized that I am procrastinating everything!! LOL

Here is the link of what my save the dates look like http://www.magnetstreet.com/carved-in-love-autumn-save-the-date-magnets
Obviously it has our information on it. hehe

So currently I am watching the new season of the Bachelor... I really think this show is ridiculous. How can one guy meet 30 girls and pick ONE to MARRY like a few weeks later?? I think it is ridiculous!

I am so happy for Megz and Bryan that they picked their wedding date. 11/5/11 was the original date we wanted!! So it's a great day.

I have so much to do for the wedding so I plan on doing a few things today!

This one is for Paula!

So I purchased a 120 color eyeshadow palette and the first person to pop in my head was Paula. hehe! This post is for you... now I am no expert on makeup and I tried. It actually took me a good 10 mins today to put this eyeshadow on. I usually only spend like 2 mins!

One side of palette

other side

The whole thing
Don't really know how to get the camera light perfect.. this is the first shot

Second

Third

Final after I dryed my hair lol... I used a light pink for the base, a darker pink in the crease, and a purple on the sides

I suppose I did alright the first time around. I really don't know how to apply makeup properly.

Bad poster... yet again!

Happy New Year!!!! 2011 is going to be a fantastic year! I can feel it already. I am getting married and my bestest friend is pregnant!!!! I am so happy! I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. So here is the last of my days. I have been a bad blogger yet again, but one of my new year's resolutions is to be more active and a better friend to all my online loves. I feel left out most of them time because I never keep up with anyone :(... so I hope to do better this year.

Day 24 – This makes me cry
Any commercial that has animals from a shelter. I hate those that have Sarah McLaughlin singing in the background and the dogs and cats are all beat up and look like they are crying. Those commercials kill me!  I usually cry about everything. I am such a big baby! Most movies or t.v. shows make me cry lol.

Day 25 – A first
cup of coffee in the morning is magical! I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee! I am definitely a caffeine addict. But I drink a lot of soda... just coffee. I will have it any kind of way too... hehe. Black, cream and sugar, flavored, cappuccino, espresso... anything.

Day 26 – My fears
My fears are that I will be alone. I know I am with Greg, but I am always afraid that something will happen to him and I will be left alone. It scares me to even just think about it. I think that is why I can be too protective because I don't want him to go out and do something stupid that would leave me on this world alone. I have a terrible fear of snakes and zombies. I know zombies don't exist ( not that I have seen anyway), but they still scare the shit out of me. Snakes are by far the scariest things on this planet. I can't even watch them on t.v.

Day 27 – My favorite place
My favorite place is on my couch in my living room. I do a lot here. Read...watch t.v.... go on the internet. It's also a magical couch. Every time I don't feel good I can  lay here and I will automatically feel better.

Day 28 – This I miss
The days when the only concern I had was "what's for dinner?". Now I have so many concerns and being a grown up sucks sometimes. I was with my bestest friend the other day.. Christie... and she has a 6 year old step-daughter and I was just listening to her talk and just not a care in the world, but the one thing she asked about several times was "what's for dinner?" and I can remember when that was my only concern. I miss those days.

Day 29 – My ambitions
To change the life of at least one child.

Day 30 – One last moment
The last moment I realized that I was no longer a child and that I was a grown-up. I love my life... I really do... but sometimes I just want to go back to the days of playing with Barbie dolls and watching Full House.

Day 5- 23 LOL!! I haven't been able to post

Day 5- What is love?
Love is not something to throw around. Love is when you are completely and utterly taken away by someone. Love for me is Greg. He takes my breath away everyday. He cares for me in every aspect of life. Love is being able to have faults and not be perfect and still have someone love you just the way you are. Love is the unconditional love from your family regardless of what you do and who you are. To me that is love.

Day 6- My Day
Well today I woke up around 9:45am. I had a cup of coffee and played with my kitties for a while. Then I took a shower and got ready for extended family christmas at my in-laws. We went there around 1pm and ate food, talked to family, and exchanged some gifts. Then we left around 5:30 and got home at 6:00 and fed the kitties and now I am here typing this! LOL

Day 7-My best friend
My best friend is Bri. We have been best friends since the 1st grade and she is my maid of honor in my wedding. She is one month younger than me. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University as a technical theater major. She has been a stage manager for many school shows and has worked off-broadway several times. She is incredibly smart and she makes me laugh all the time. She always has my back and I couldn't have asked for a better best friend.

Day 8- One Moment
Well one moment I can't wait for is standing at the beginning of the aisle looking at Greg at our wedding. I can't wait to take his hands into mine and for the moment we say "I Do". I can't wait for the first moments as husband and wife.

Day 9-My faith

Well I grew up in a Lutheran home. But over the years I have lost all of my faith in any other "being". I guess you can consider me an agnostic. I have to see it to believe it. I feel that some things in my life would have been different if there really is someone up there looking down on me. I have faith in man kind and I have faith that if you are a good person then there will a place for you where ever we go after we die.

Day 10 – Today I wore this
I wore a gray sweater dress with light gray stockings with a design on them. I wore black boots.

Day 11 – My siblings
I have the best brothers in the world. Robert is 23 years old and he is amazing! He works three jobs and has kept my family together since my father left. He is like a father figure to me. He protects me and gives me good advice. Raymond is 17 and he is a very good boy. He has been through a lot since everything with my dad happened when he was younger. They are going to be walking me down the aisle when I get married.

Day 12 – In my handbag
Oh boy my purse always has a lot of crap in it... my wallet, a pocket calendar, about 7 pens, 2 pencils, my usb key, kidstuff coupon book, a color swatch of my bridesmaids dress, a coupon holder, a mini bag of lipstick and lipgloss, the perfume I wear for the day, eyeliner, and my mp3 player.

Day 13 – This week
This week was boring. I worked Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday I went Christmas shopping and took the babies to the vet. Thursday I went to the doctor for a physical and yesterday we went to a Christmas party. Tomorrow I have my friends graduation party. Very busy!!

Day 14 – What was I wearing today?
Well I explained what I wore today in Day 10, but right now I am wearing pajama pants and a t-shirt from Aerie!

Day 15 – My dreams
I don't really remember my dreams. Sometimes I have very crazy dreams that feel really real, but usually I don't remember them. If we are talking about "my dreams"... my dream is to just be happy, married, and successful in my career. I dream of living in a nice house with children and loving life.

Day 16 – My first kiss
My first kiss was SLOPPY!!!!! I was in 9th grade and the boy I was dating invited me over to his house. His name was Keith. He lived like 2 blocks away from me so I just walked over to hang out with him. When I got there we decided to watch Dazed and Confused. All of a sudden he started kissing me on his bed. It was gross he just couldnt keep his saliva in his mouth. BLEH

Day 17 – My favorite memory
The night Greg proposed to me. It was the best moment of my entire life. Not much else to say about it. It was simply amazing!

Day 18 – My favorite birthday
My 21st birthday. Not because I could drink, because I don't really drink that much as it is, but that weekend we went to a bed and breakfast. We went to this place called Cape May. It is along the Jersey Shore and they have a quaint little town with good restaurants and little stores. They have ALOT of bed and breakfasts so Greg made reservations at this B&B called the Primerose Inn. I loved it and we had sooo much fun. It was the best birthday ever!!!

Day 19 – This I regret
Forget regret....

Day 20 – This month
This month has been crazy!! I graduated from college Dec. 9th and a lot of holiday things going on. I love this time of year since I can see my family a lot.

Day 21 – Another moment
Walking into our first apartment. It was the greatest feeling to know that this was OUR place now.

Day 22 – This upsets me
A lot of things upset me. Stupid petty fights, the news, the fact that gay people don't have the same rights as everyone else. The way the NJ governor treats the teachers and the teacher union. Students who come to school dirty, ripped clothes, no food and abused. Students that are pushed to the side in the educational system. Not having a lot of money upsets me. My dad upsets me and so does his side of the family.

Day 23 – This makes me feel better
Coming home after a long day. Seeing my babies and my hunny. Hanging out with friends and shopping!!! LOL

Sunday, November 28, 2010

Day 4- I ate this today

It was a weird day...

Breakfast- 3 pancake bites from Dunkin Donuts..yummm and coffee.

Lunch- Honey mustard pretzels about a handful

Late Lunch/ Early dinner- Vietnamese Pho (it's soup it's really good!!! )

The day isn't over yet. I might have something else but not sure yet. lol

Day 3- My Parents

Well this is kind of a touchy topic for me. I grew up in a loving home till I was about 5 or 6 years old. My mother has always been a constant in my life. She has made me who I am today. She used to make us "treats" every night after dinner, and after we had our "treats" (ice cream or cake) we would sit on her bed and she would ask us if we had anything we wanted to talk about. We would take for hours and hours about anything and she would answer any questions we had. Then we would read a book and go to sleep. She has been my rock and has been by my side for as long as I can remember. She really is an amazing woman and I owe so much to her.

My father on the other hand ... was never really ... there. He is an alcoholic and when I was younger I never really realized it. It was until I was 15 years did I realize how bad he really is. When I was 15 he decided to go to a strip club with some of his friends. His friends ended up leaving him there and at 5am we got a knock on the door from the police saying that he was found unconcious behind the club. We still don't really know what happened that night and I really don't want to know because I am sure it was nothing good. Anyways, so since that night he went into a quick downspiral. He drank between 20-30 beers a day. He couldn't hold a job and he hated my mom and me. I always would call me a bitch or a cunt and would pick fights with us. One day about 3 years ago he hit my mom really hard and threatend to kill her. He left the house and as he was leaving he threatended suicide. He left and we called the cops and they got him by the train tracks by my old house. We got a permenant restraining order from him 3 years ago and I haven't talked or seen him since. He doesn't contact me or send me birthday cards ( he sends them to my brothers). His whole side of the family my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents haven't talked to me either. He really is a piece of shit and I will never forgive him for what he did to my family. We almost lost the house and we never had any money. My mom was left with nothing because of him. I hope one day he will maybe realize his mistakes in life and would want to talk to me about it, but I will never make the first step. I tried getting him help but failed time and time again.

So there are my parents. However, I am very fortunate to have amazing in-laws. They love me like I was their own daughter and that makes me feel really good.

My father will not be walking me down the aisle, but my two brothers are and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Day 2- My first Love

Well my first "true" love is and always will be Greg. But I guess my first "love" who I thought I loved was my highschool boyfriend Marc. We dated for one year and for a while it was amazing and I loved him very much. But then things turned crazy. I found out he was cheating on me with like 5 different girls throughout the last couple months of our relationship. I remember the day exactly. Right after New Years I went back to school and the "new" girl came up to me in the bathroom and she said " Are you Marc's girlfriend?" I said yes why.. she said "well my best friend Ivy has been dating him for 2 months. They spent NYE together at my house". At first I didn't understand why should would say that, but after we broke up and everything she told me she thought I was really nice and didn't deserve to be treated like that. So anyway I ended up leaving school early and waited at his house for him to come home. I told him that I found out. He got so mad at me and starting throwing things at me. He ended up throwing a trophy at my head. Thankfully I ducked, but then I left.

I was heartbroken because I gave up a lot to be with him. I got into so many fights with my friends and family. But I was in love with him. Over the years he has contacted me and told me how sorry he was and that doing that to me was the worst thing and regretted it. He always wanted to get back together with me. But I never gave him a second chance.

But now I have the great true love of my life. He is going to be my husband and I couldn't be happier!

PS.. Thanksgiving was awesome and tomorrow is Thanksgiving 2 with the in-laws! Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was great!!

Day 1- About Me

About me:
My name is Lyndsay but everyone likes to call me Lily. I actually got that nickname a long time ago. Many of my family members called me Lily and it stuck. I am 25 years old and my birthday is July 27th.
I have multicolored hair (lol.. mostly brown but there is some red, blonde, and black in there) I have hazel eyes that are blind as a bat so I wear contacts and glasses. I am really short 5'1 and I am technically "overweight" I weigh 125 lbs.
I have been a college student since 2003 but finally graduating in 2 weeks. I am receiving my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. I hope to get a teaching job some time in the near future.
I live with my Fiance, Greg. We have been dating for 5 years and 3 months. We are getting married next October!!  We recently moved into a small 1 bedroom apartment, which is like a mansion to us. We did live in my family's basement for three years. We also just adopted 2 little kitties... Lily and Sophie and I love them very much.
I love being at home. I am very much a homebody and really don't like going out. I love to read as many books as I can and I love movies and television.
I like doing certain things like being on the web, shopping, and hanging out with my friends.
I am a very emotional person and I can cry about anything. I have a lot of issues but that will be saved for another post. LOL.
I really love my life and who I am.

PS.. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
